Applause Caterers opened their doors in the new Academy Theater Banquet and Conference Center at 58 E. Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD on November 1, 2008. Once an abandoned warehouse, the Tusing Building has been transformed into a beautiful theater, banquet and conference facility. The third floor is the new home of Applause Caterers (formerly Always Catering by Always Ron’s).

Owner Mike Guessford began full service catering from Always Ron’s Restaurant in 2004 and as the business expanded a dream blossomed with the development of the Tusing Warehouse project. The building now houses a large new catering kitchen, a beautiful banquet room and offices for Applause Caterers. The new name was selected to suit our new home and our expanded services. A full service catering and event planning staff are ready to work with you in creating your special event at our facility or the location of your choice.
